Gingerbread House Competition
Both categories had a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, as well as a 'Best In Show', with prizes from KitchenAid and more!
2024 winners received amazing prizes from our sponsors KitchenAid, including their new Cordless Hand Blender or Hand Mixer, and the iconic Artisan Stand Mixer. There were also bottles of Five Farms Irish Liquer up for grabs, plus a pair of tickets to the award-winning West End production of Operation Mincemeat!

Theme 1 - All Things Musicals!
On the 24th of November, musical fans flocked to the cinema for the 'Wicked' the movie! This iconic musical was a huge inspiration to the 2024 Cake Competition theme, and we're inviting all musical and baking lovers to participate!
All Things Musicals! Was a chance to express your creativity and skill to make and decorate your most colourful, extravagant cakes that boast in musical excellence.
From classics such as 'Singing In The Rain' to 'La La Land', cake competitiors took center stage with their designs!
Theme 2 - Gingerbread House
If you had a taste for Gingerbread House creating and decorating, this competition was made for you! From festive grottos and ski lodges to townhouses and hotels – our talented entrants pulled out all the stops to construct and decorate the ultimate Gingerbread Houses.

This year's Cake Competition was judged by Oli the Choc and Jane Lashbrook of Fabulously Fondant, together with guest judges Ryan Riley on behalf of Maggies West London, and the cast of Operation Mincemeat.
Winners were announced by Cherish Finden on Sunday 1 November, at 3.15 on The Cake & Bake Stage.
