INTRODUCING MAGGIE'S - OUR OFFICIAL CHARITY PARTNER FOR 2024

We are so proud to have Maggie's as our official charity partner for 2024. 

Maggie’s supports the NHS, helping to reduce the strain, by ensuring people with cancer are better informed at every stage of their journey. With 98% of people having an improved understanding of their cancer and treatments, Maggie's are empowering people when speaking with their medical teams and take an active role in their diagnosis.

The stark contrast to the hospital setting provides people with a safe haven. A place with comfy sofa’s, a welcoming kitchen table, and plenty of time.

Having provided 25,310 support sessions to their visitors in 2023, Maggie's know that their expert support has impact. Maggie's bespoke programme is available to anyone living with or affected by cancer, at any stage of their journey, for as long as they need them.

Cancer can strike anyone, at any time. Maggie's want to be there when it does.

Maggie’s is currently facing unprecedented challenges. With more of the population living longer with cancer, and health services so stretched, Maggie's are seeing more people coming through their doors in need of help. Additionally, the UK faces ongoing challenges, including delayed diagnoses, limited access to treatments, and the emotional and psychological toll on patients and their families.

Maggie's are funded entirely by voluntary donations, relying on the generosity and support of their community. To meet the growing demand for our services, Maggie's need your help.
