The Cake Competition sponsored by The Baking Company received over 80 entries! From Walt himself and the iconic Mickey Mouse, to world-famous heroes and villains, the Inspired by Disney entries showcased each baker's individual take on the Disney theme, marking the brand's 100th birthday in true Cake & Bake style. Showcasing talent from bakers of all ages and levels, the entries were incredible, each featuring intricate detail and remarkable craftmanship. This year's overall winner was Emily Rakow who was awarded Best In Show and received £1,000 for her 'Disney Dogs' masterpiece.

New for 2023, our hand-picked panel of Cake & Bake Pros delivered hands-on masterclasses and business advice sessions throughout the duration of the show.
Visitors decorated their own cupcakes, created festive fondant cake toppers, learnt how to hand-ice biscuits, and received essential baking business advice from our panel of experts.

The Showstopper is one of the flagship features of The Cake & Bake Show and this year's cake installation was no exception. Created by talented cake artist Jane Lashbrook of Fabulously Fondant, The Show-ho-ho-stopper stopped visitors in their tracks to grab a festive selfie with the life-sized Santa made of cake.
From baking and decorating tools and ingredients, to sweet treats and gifts, the 2023 show was the ultimate shopping destination for bakers, cake decorators and foodies alike.
