Jayne is a highly creative, versatile and skilled food stylist who has been working with food for 20 years now. Jayne has worked on innumerable magazines, advertisements, TV shows as well as over 30 books as a food stylist and was commissioned recently to write and style two books of her own including her ‘Anti Gravity Cakes – 25 bakes that defy belief’. She is also a lecturer in Food Styling at the renowned Leiths School of Food and Wine. Jayne has teamed up with cancer charity, Look Good Feel Better, who supported her back in 2017 when she was undergoing treatment for breast cancer. The charity run confidence boosting Workshops across the UK, to help people overcome the visible side effects of cancer treatment which can have a devastating impact on a person’s self-esteem. Their Workshops are led by beauty trained volunteers, and are an opportunity to meet others in a similar situation whilst being taught vital skills such as how to draw on missing eyebrows, grooming and coping with changes to the skin.
Jayne will be demonstrating one of her amazing anti-gravity cakes in the hope that it will inspire bakers attending the show to don their aprons, and bake to raise funds for this incredible cause. Her recipe and information on how you can support Look Good Feel Better will be available on their charity stand J45.
